Kuomiokoski Oy, or Kuoma as we are usually called, is a shoe manufacturer founded in 1928. Our products combine Finnish expertise with comfort, quality and practicality. 

Kuoma’s main operations are located in the villages of Kuomiokoski and Mäntyharju in Southern Savonia, as well as in Vantaa, in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Kuoma has 69 employees in Finland. 

The expertise we have gathered during our years of operation gives us a unique insight into our customer’s needs. This means all Kuoma products are designed to adapt naturally to the Nordic climate and all its seasons.

FAMILY BUSINESS

Kuoma’s founder and first CEO, Juho Puttonen, founded the Kuomiokoski factory in 1928. Today the Puttonen family still works at Kuoma, now in its third generation.
